Pray that God brings a spiritual breakthrough in Turkmenistan so many men and women of Turkmen origin will be transformed by the Messiah. Pray for more workers, and that the few workers who are there can manage well until more help arrives. Pray for the revision of the New Testament to be completed in Turkmen and safely distributed to the people.

Ask God to create a discontent with Islam in Syria and lead Muslims to question their increased religious knowledge. Pray the Syrian Christians will place their hope firmly in God instead of in government. Pray for an end to strife and violence, a just government and a strong Christ-like witness.

Guinea is located on the coast of West Africa with its approximately 10 million inhabitants. It is home to some 40 ethnic groups who were Islamized during their history. Guinea may be rich in mineral resources, but one of the poorest countries in the world. Pray that local believers are empowered to be witnesses of God’s love in word and deed to their Muslim neighbors.

Pray that they would soon be known as people of God.
Gospel Breakthrough: the Mien of Laos
Many Mien people seek spirits to find healing and restoration. They make sacrifices to manipulate the spirits into giving them good luck or healing their sick. The Lord has used many miracles in Southeast Asia to prove His power over the spirits. Pray for many visions, signs, and miracles to be used among the Mien in Southeast Asia. Pray that they would not only see physical healing as a benefit from God, but that He would use physical healing to show Himself as Redeemer of the world.

Dear Father, we pray against anything that might hinder the Gospel among the Mien people, whether it be geography, language, family, social pressure, or other factors. May your goodness be known to all people, and may hearts turn to you.

Family, honor, and respect are very important in Southeast Asia. This can make a conversion to Christianity difficult because new converts are seen as distancing themselves from family values and traditions. Pray that believers find ways to show love to their families without participating in spirit worship. Pray that believers can influence and lead their families to Christ

Join Andrew and Megan Roe in praying for parent Bible studies in Japan. Pray for their friends who have been joining them at church, that God would continue to draw them near to Him. Pray for strength as a family with their busy schedules. Pray for continual spiritual growth for them and their children. Pray for Japan as the country remains 1% Christian. Pray for a movement to happen. Pray for their relationships with their neighbors and staff members and students at the school at which they work in Okinawa.
