Team Expansion General Request
Polygamy is a normal practice among the Songhai people. The ability to have more wives is a symbol of power, success, wealth, and prestige. Wives typically have a lot of responsibility. Songhai men do not help their wives with any household duties. Pray that the Songhai people would hear the Good News of Jesus Christ, value marriage, and respect their wives. Pray that Christian marriages among the Songhai people would be a beautiful testimony of Christ’s love for the Church.
Team Expansion Worker
Pray that Gabriel and Barbara Ayala (Spain) would support and encourage one another. Pray that their children will love God, love the Church, and love Spain. Pray for Dani, Raquel, and Amparo in their decisions to be baptized. May they know this is just the first step into their new lives in Christ.
Pray for More Workers
Ask the Lord of the Harvest to thrust out more workers to serve the Songhai people and the OuLaw tribe.
