Praise God for empowering Team Expansion’s workers to be trained as well as implement Disciple-Making Movement principles via different tools and avenues. One such avenue is an evangelism course called “It’s All about Relationships” developed by John Hendee. It is so obvious that God expects us to have great success in making new disciples, but the training in how to personally go about that in one’s daily life is scarce. As is common in Laos, many tribes do not hold their Christmas celebrations on December 25 but stagger them on the calendar from village to village. In this way, all the believers can travel around and join each other’s Christmas celebrations. The National Missionary partners did this with the Bit, the Ker, and the Laoseng churches. From mid-December to the first week of January, we received images of small groups of believers in these tribes singing praise songs, reading the Christmas story from the Gospels, and celebrating the birth of Jesus in their house churches. Praise God for new siblings in Christ. Pray for their groups to grow and make more disciples.

O God, do not remain silent among the Khmer in Cambodia; do not turn a deaf ear, and do not stand aloof. Your enemies growl and rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against those you cherish. Make them like tumbleweed, like chaff before the wind. Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD – that you alone are the Most High over all the earth (Psalm 83).
