The eyes of the world are on Turkey’s actions in northern Syria. The US, EU, Russia, Iran, and others are all trying to exert influence over what Turkey does. What if, instead of global political influence, Turkey experienced transformation from within? This homeland of so much of the early church – that is now 99% Muslim – CAN once again be a beacon of Light and Hope to the world. The city of Istanbul plays a critical role. It’s the economic, industrial, educational, religious, and cultural center of the Turkish World. Pray for the Gospel to be spread through the city of Rome and the rest of Italy, as the Apostle Paul prayed in Roman 1:15-16a, “That is why I am so eager to preach the Gospel also to you who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…”
