Daily Prayer Force March 6, 2023

The Songhai people are extremely nostalgic about their prestigious past. The Songhai trace their origin to the 18^th kingdom of Za. They proudly view their past empire as glorious and consider their upbringing to be elevated beyond their peers. Although Islam was embraced as early at 1010, it was mixed with their original beliefs in spirits of the river, soil, and wild game. God of the nations, we pray that the Songhai people would know Jesus Christ and be humbled before their Creator of the Universe. We pray that they would abandon the animistic practices of their past and serve the One True God
