Praise God for His character of gentleness that bears fruit through His Spirit. Praise God for being ever-present and near. Lord, guide us through this pandemic with Your gentleness and guard our hearts and minds with Your peace.

“Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:5-8)

Two Lao national missionaries brought a fish to eat with the believers in a village of the Laoseng people. They taught them a simple Gospel presentation and then had them practice and share with others. The believers learned it easily and did well sharing with others. As the team went to sleep that night, they heard an elderly grandmother in the next room teaching her 10-year-old grandchild the message. Praise God for the Laoseng believers, and pray that they continue sharing God’s story.

Pray for breakthrough in Ancona Italy. “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:29) Pray for those followers of Jesus in Italy who have been sharing the Gospel but have been seeing little fruit. Ask God to give these men and women strength and to increase the power of their faith. Pray that they would persevere in the strength the Lord gives, trusting that, in due time, He will bring about a disciple-making movement.
