REFLECT – Joseph Scriven, who had experienced much sorrow throughout his life, wrote the words for this hymn. He sent “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” to his ill mother in Ireland. What better advice could anyone give to a family member or friend in need of love, healing, or comfort? Believers can experience much joy and peace when they tell God about everything in their prayers. Take a moment and share your concerns with Him today.
PRAY – Thank You, Jesus, for always listening to my cares. You bless me by carrying my burdens with me. I praise You, my Savior, for being my ‘shield’ and ‘solace’ – and the most wonderful friend of all.
Team Expansion Worker
Please lift these requests before our Lord for/with A and C in Epiphany:
-House church was beautiful as we had representation of workers from three different North African nations. Pray to the Lord of the Harvest for more workers in the field!
-C also got a brief chance to do a Bible study with a believer from a nearby country who was passing through to process legal paperwork and A was able to work with two other ministries to connect a Syrian seeker from a digital media effort to a Syrian believer who could meet and disciple him face to face. It truly was a month full of the nations on our doorstep! Pray for the nations that the Lord may be bringing to your doorstep!
– Pray for wisdom, unity in teamwork, and breakthrough as we desire to continually improve
all we attempt while staying fully reliant upon the Lord working in and through and among us.
– Pray for Mrs. Farris and thank the Lord for George and his sensitive spirit. Pray for the school and our family through the remainder of this season.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, You are the most wonderful FRIEND. Send more workers to Your harvest fields to invite the unreached into a relationship with You. Raise up 2000 intercessors for the Team Expansion Prayer Force for more global impact for Your Kingdom.
