Father, we give thanks to you for being in control. As we bring our requests to you, take away the fear, anxiety, and feelings of isolation from people receiving treatment or under quarantine. Give them a sense of purpose in pursuing health and protecting others from exposure to the Corid-19 disease. Protect their families and friends and bring peace to all who love them.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, presents your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
One Lao National Missionary we call Jonah led the believers from Jeuya village in a worship service and then visited the neighboring village of Tuka, where three people had believed in the month of January. Jonah taught the believers how to share the Gospel, and then he watched as one of them shared with nine friends. “Do you want to believe in Jesus?” asked one listener, and all nine came to faith. Later, three more people believed. Jonah also shared with the former district governor, who said, “I want to believe, too.” Now fifteen Muji people have professed faith in Tuka village. Join in praying that these Muji believers will be built up in Christ and form a strong house church.
Ask God to knock down Gospel barriers for the Serbs in Bosnia. The country of Bosnia has three distinct people groups with different cultures, environments, languages, and even presidents. Pray for ways that these groups and leaders interact with one another and lead their people.
