Jehovah Rapha, we pray for T, a disciple in East Africa who rescues young women from terrifying circumstances and disciples them to follow Jesus. We pray these young ladies will not be overcome by evil, but that they will overcome evil with good. Great Healer, we pray for an end to prostitution, sex slavery, and addiction. We pray these new disciples will live brand new lives in Christ and be used by You to help many others be rescued from the schemes of the enemy and become fruitful disciples.

Join in lifting these requests for the F family in Central Asia:
- Last month M and C visited a village called “Farmer.” This month they visited a village called “Unity.” There are some yak connections in this village, and they also have a frozen field in winter for playing ice hockey! Interestingly, there are horse connections in this village, particularly related to endurance riding. M and C are currently praying for an option to buy a yak-meat business called “Hungry Nomads” and relocate the business to their new region. It looks very promising. Continue to be praying for them about discerning which village to move to and what direction the Lord is leading them – BAM (Business as Mission) or community development/non-profit, or both!
- M and C are beginning the planning for a National Round Table this fall with the Ministry of Health to advocate for professional doula services in their country (for doulas to be allowed to enter maternity hospitals with their clients). Planning and organizing for the big event is now underway.
- Son Seth has had a deep and meaningful experience over the past 5 months at his discipleship training school. His DTS ended on March 7. He stayed in NZ for an extra two weeks before returning to San Diego at the end of March. He has decided not to move back to Colorado. Instead, he will be looking for a job in San Diego and living in Alpine with daughter Hattie. Pray for him as he makes this transition off a spiritual high and re-enters “normal” life.
- Ian continues to struggle with mood fluctuations. He is working hard to get through this semester but struggling to be motivated for anything else. Unfortunately, he has not been able to muster any of the resolve he had at the start of the semester with the new personal goals he set for himself. He also found out that the internship he was hoping for this summer in San Diego (so he could be close to family) is not available, and that he must move out of his current living arrangement by the start of the next school year. He also has not been able to find a new car. Please pray especially that the Lord brings him a new community and that he can find a new car soon. His old car is unsafe to continue driving.
- Daughter Hattie has taken a new part-time job as the church secretary at home church. Her job with Studio, the missions training program, started again on March 2. She also continues to work on her candidacy with Team Expansion. Pray for her as she begins support raising and continues working through her “to-do” list for Team Expansion.
- Things are going well for daughter Abby with her midwifery degree, but she still needs more births to complete the practicum requirements of her program. She finishes four years of academic coursework in May, but she cannot graduate until she finishes her practicum. Her goal is to get her birth quota by the end of summer, before the next semester starts (if she cannot finish by then, she will have to pay another semester of tuition). Pray the Lord will bring more clients to the practice!
- Son-in-law Kyle is also trying to finish his bachelor’s degree (while working full-time!) and praying about going to seminary or through a chaplaincy program. Pray for him and Abby to be able to make good decisions about their future. They had a car accident that totaled Kyle’s car.
- Continue to pray for God to bring new teammates. Pray that the Lord might bring another veterinarian or agronomist to the team.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more disciple makers to East Africa for trauma and rescue ministries that point people to Jesus.
