“Then they left the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the name.” (Acts 5:4). Pray for the persecuted believers in the Middle East to find joy in suffering for Christ and to continue to share His love even in the midst of persecution.

“Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things.” (Psalm 107:8-9) Praise God for being the true answer to our deepest longings! Rejoice that even in our weakness He has not withheld His love from us, and even now is holding out open arms to hungry hearts among Cambodian peoples.

As American believers celebrate Thanksgiving, we understand to whom our thanks and praises are due: to God, from whom all blessings flow. Even before we see fruit among the Druze of the Golan, we want to thank God for the fruit that is sure to come. Revelation 7:9-10 assures us that there will be Druze among those praising God: “After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” Thank you, Lord, for the Druze who will stand before the throne and cry out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”

Join C and M in Central Asia in praying for more workers for the harvest field. Pray for continued adjustment for the team in Ankara and connections with other workers and/or national believers.

Pray with D and M in the Middle East that they will be filled with the joy of the Lord and those with whom they are living will more clearly see Him in them and want what they have. Pray that many will come to Jesus.
