The internet and American movies have brought western culture to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today in BiH, young people imitate what they see on the screen, including Halloween. Their adaptation of this American custom excludes autumn motifs or character costumes. Instead, those who dress up only seem to choose from the dark side: witches, zombies, monsters, werewolves…Stores sell scary masks and gruesome costumes fit only for horror movies. Pray for young people in Bosnia today. While they are online or in front of a movie screen, ask God’s Holy Spirit to move through the screen. Pray they supernaturally “stumble” on videos about Jesus and clips that teach Biblical truths. Ask God’s Kingdom to reign even on the internet!

Final 58 in Laos – In early July, word came that Lao National Missionary partners led a new person to receive the Lord among the Ngouan people! This brings the number of believers among this tribe to eight. Praise God for this snapshot of this new beachhead among a previously unreached group in Laos. Pray for the Ngouan church to grow and multiply!
Pray for God’s peace, strength, and comfort in the passing of Jon May’s mother in September and his dad a few months earlier. Pray for everyone dealing with all the different issues from the Covid-19 pandemic, emotional issues, financial issues, and issues revolving around school for the children. Pray for effective ministry for Jon (International Services) in the areas of finances, operations, and online learning.
