“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12) There is a superstition among the Zarma that if someone touches a child’s head, they are cursing the child or placing an evil spirit on them. Zarma people believe that others frequently seek harm for their neighbors and practice rituals and wear fetishes to protect themselves from evil spirits and dark forces. Pray that the Zarma would have confidence in Jesus Christ who has conquered the spiritual forces of evil.
“And now, Lord, look upon their threats and grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus” (Acts 4:30-31) Lord, please do this among the Muslims in Dearborn. www.Pray4Dearborn.com

Join Dana and Chris McCain (International Services) in praying for believers to take up the challenge to support new workers. Pray that missionaries will be able to see the long-term vision and find joy and satisfaction in each day’s work, trusting Him for tomorrow. Pray that believers can continue to be fruitful in business in sensitive countries. Pray their testimonies and those of local believers will win a hearing from others. Pray that they will be able to operate in cooperation with local authorities.
