“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me – practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:6-9)
Many Team Expansion workers are discipling others in prayer walking, using Scripture that serves to guide our prayers and goals in sharing with others. Perhaps you can use these “5 Open H’s” as a guide for your own prayer walking in your community, park, mall, or neighborhood.
Father, open HEAVEN and reveal Your glory. (Isaiah 64:1)
Father, open HIGHWAYS, all routes for the Gospel to go forward. (Isaiah 40:3-5)
Father, open HEARTS to receive and believe the message. (Acts 2:37)
Father, open my HOME and the HOMES of others to use in growing people in Jesus Christ. (Acts 2:46-47)
Father, open my HANDS and the HANDS of others to willingly serve others through Jesus Christ. (Matthew 10:7-8)
