Jesus, thank You for Your promise of peace that trumps anxiety and fear. Some cultures are held captive by animism. We pray these cultures would know Your surpassing peace.

A team in West Africa is working toward disciple-making movements among several people groups. We pray for Your Spirit to ignite 24 DMMs.

Team Expansion Worker

Ask God to lead JS (North Africa) to people of peace with whom she can extend an invitation to gather their friends or family together to read and discuss the Bible.
Two unrelated groups of Christians in two North African countries are facing criminal charges because of their faith in Christ. The circumstances are dire. Pray for the enemy’s plans to be thwarted and for God’s justice, goodness, and purposes to be upheld.

Praise:

For group baptisms and for more people who are sharing their faith with friends and family. In a meeting with local coworkers, one said, “I don’t know if it’s that God is doing a new thing…or we are learning how to better filter and help people engage their networks…but we are seeing vastly different results!” Praise God, because, with certainty, it is some of both!
For the meetings with O* and her boyfriend. Pray for her hunger for Christ to grow.
