The angel foretold that John the Baptist would “go before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” (Luke 1:17)
Ask God for that same spirit and power of Elijah to accompany Makua local believers in preparing a nation for Jesus’s return. Pray that disciples will continue the right path in Christ and have the spirit of Elijah in sharing the Good News with others in their area.
