“When Jesus had gone a little farther, he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets.” (Mark 1:19)

The Bible is easily accessible in Italy, yet most have never read it. Those who do are persecuted for reading such a complex, outdated book that only priests and scholars can interpret. Several Italians have begun to read the Bible through efforts of DMM-minded workers, and they are experiencing joy, peace, and the presence of Jesus in new ways. They are also experiencing opposition from friends and family.

Father, we pray that those reading Your Word would persevere; and by their perseverance, loved ones would see Jesus in a new light. We pray that Your Gospel would transform the readers and their whole relational network.

Team Expansion Worker

DB in southeast Asia reports that one of his English students has a heart to learn about God. They have continued meeting together on a regular basis. Please pray for this young kid (just graduated university). Pray that his heart would continue to be open and that God would hear his prayers and begin to show Himself to this guy.
Thousands of TD people got to hear a story of God’s love and power from a TD person in their own heart language, for some the first time. Jesus is becoming more famous (and hopefully more known) among the TD through media! May the day come when there are no longer TD people who have never heard of Jesus nor ever had an opportunity to hear. Media is changing that! Pray God would use the media to change the landscape of sharing the Gospel with the TD.

Pray for More Workers

Lord of the Harvest, thank You for orchestrating the launch of a local translation board for a language group in West Africa’s Gulf Coast. Thank You, Father, for progress in selecting workers who will be translating Your Word into their own language.
