“Praise the LORD. Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints.” (Psalm 149:1) In March, the Simply Mobilizing International Center in Butuan City, Philippines hosted the 2019 Global Development Consultation. This gathering included forty-eight Simply Mobilizing leaders from twelve global regions around the world. One region has seen some of the most amazing growth where the church is experiencing extreme persecution. The coordinator shared a message from that region, asking that we not pray for the persecution to stop but simply that they would continue to be faithful. Give praise to God who is at work everywhere, even in some of the most challenging places. Pray that those under persecution will remain strong in their faith, clinging to Christ and the hope they have in Him.
Pray for energy and stamina for workers as they encounter long hours on the road and trails to remote villages. (More on The Final 58)
Pray for the people in Ancona, Italy to walk in righteousness. Hosea 14:9 says, “Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.” Pray that the Italians in Ancona walk in the righteousness of the Lord Jesus.
