The Emotional Trauma Healing Associate serves as a key member of Teach to Transform’s emotional trauma healing team, helping to train, support, and mentor partners who serve in areas of deep emotional and spiritual brokenness. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for counseling and trauma-informed ministry, who feels called to equip others and bring Christ’s healing to the nations. Part-time or full-time position (flexible).

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Training & Resource Development

• Lead or assist with trauma healing trainings for national partners using our curriculum.

• Train leaders who work with persecuted believers, survivors of trafficking, or communities in crisis.

• Co-develop or contextualize trauma healing resources for diverse cultural settings.

Partner Support

• Build relationships with local ministry partners and trauma healing alumni.

• Provide mentorship and encouragement to leaders, helping them multiply the training.

• Follow up with field ministry partners to monitor the spiritual and emotional impact in their communities.

Program Development

• Help assess emotional and spiritual needs in the field and shape future curriculum accordingly.

• Document and share testimonies of transformation to inspire others and support donor engagement.

Team & Logistics Support

• Prepare for international trips, including materials, planning, and packing.

• Collaborate with team members and volunteers to ensure smooth execution of trainings.

• Report to the Emotional Trauma Healing Director.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in counseling, trauma-informed ministry, or missions preferred.
• Strong communication skills and cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Spiritually mature, with a heart for evangelism and discipleship.
• Willing and able to travel internationally to challenging locations (up to 4 trips/year).
• Compassionate, adaptable, and relational—able to listen well, lead with humility, and thrive in resource-limited settings.
