Sixteen Team Expansion Pathways interns have returned home after a summer full of new experiences, growth, and a greater understanding of how the Gospel is going into the world.
The interns began their summer with Team Expansion’s week-long Pre-Field Orientation (PFO). They engaged in team building while learning about personal spiritual growth, how to share their testimony, the 3 Circles Gospel presentation method, and tools for cultural adaptation and language acquisition.
Following PFO, the interns flew out in five teams to Ghana, Mexico, Jordan, Turkey, and the UAE. They spent 8 weeks on their fields, where they built relationships, served in the ministry, and learned from the workers and local believers. Interns were able to see God working in the lives of the people whom they were serving, and in their own hearts.
Following their time on the field, the Pathways interns returned to Team Expansion’s campus, Emerald Hills, in Louisville, KY for a week of debriefing and preparation for returning to their universities or next chapters.
Each Pathways experience creates lasting and life-changing shifts in the interns. The program continues to be a powerful gift for the participants, the fields where they serve, and the teams at International Services who pour into them.
“It’s such a joy to see what these guys and gals are like before leaving for the summer and then being blow away by how much more they look like Jesus when they return.”
– CP, Team Expansion’s Director of Mobilization
Awesome to see how God is at work and how prayers make a difference. Humbled and blessed to pray.
Thank you, Debbie. God is awesome!
