Give Hope Indonesia endeavors to help people physically and emotionally, especially the poor and marginalized. They operate a medical healthcare clinic, provide scholarships for orphaned and abandoned children and community prevention education empowering villagers in one of Indonesia’s islands.
The biggest need is a team to follow-up on good contacts with people from unreached people groups, which is about half of the population of the Island, and more are also in nearby Islands. The medical staff have little time aside from their medical responsibilities.
This can be done by training local believers in DMM as well as staff members. There are small Evangelical groups in the area that can be trained.
The mobile medical and educational outreach is one of the most expedient way to reach the most people. Evangelists and follow-up workers can travel with the outreach team. The medical team also has a strong support base and are eager to engage in spreading the Good News.
