We are looking for a Medical or Veterinary Ministry Worker who can use their professional expertise as a platform to make disciples and help spark a disciple-making movement (DMM). Whether through medical care, veterinary services, or community outreach, this role brings Christ’s compassion to places where physical and spiritual needs are great.
Ministry Responsibilities
- Raise and maintain personal financial support
- Train for the field as advised by your Team Leader, Field Coordinator, or International Services representative
- Design and implement creative, effective ministries that communicate the hope of Christ
- Collaborate harmoniously with other team members and encourage unity
- Communicate responsibly and clearly
- Pray daily for your team, ministry, and those you serve
- Align with the vision and direction of your Team Leader
- Pursue spiritual growth
- Evaluate and improve ministry efforts regularly
- Trust God for fruit and outcomes
Ministry Qualifications
- Background in medicine or veterinary care
- Love for Jesus and a passion for the lost
- Deep commitment to reaching unreached people groups
- Experience in ministry and discipleship (specifics may vary by role and region)
- Creative, prayerful, and mission-minded
- Administrative skills for managing communication and accountability to supporters
- Ability to work well with volunteers
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a heart for service
- Willingness to live in the target area and communicate regularly (e.g., by email)
- Self-starter, adaptable, and not given to a critical spirit
