We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator who is passionate about missions and social media to join our Communications Team.

In this role, you’ll develop and implement a social media strategy that increases our online presence, engages current partners, and mobilizes future pray-ers, senders, and go-ers. You’ll work alongside writers, designers, and missionaries to create content that connects the Church with what God is doing around the world.


Ministry Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage a social media strategy
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with writers and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
  • Coordinate with missionaries and other departments
  • Manage and oversee social media content and calendars
  • Analyze and report on the success of social media campaigns
  • Stay current with social media trends, best practices, and tools
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimizations
  • Engage with influencers and ministry professionals to grow our network
  • Help mobilize additional team members to grow the Communications Team
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to teammates

Ministry Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and other platforms
  • Experience managing business accounts and running targeted ads
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience researching audiences and building buyer personas
  • Familiarity with KPIs and performance metrics
  • Graphic design skills and Adobe Creative Suite experience are a plus
  • Familiarity with web design and publishing is a plus
  • Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills
  • Critical thinker and collaborative team player
