From the Buktas, serving in Ecuador
The Peace Treaty (also known as “It’s All About Relationship“) is one of the tools we use to evangelize. It is very effective in sharing the Gospel. We have trained several people in our church to use the Peace Treaty. We would like to share with you stories of people who have given their lives to Christ.
Meet Rocke and Emilia

Rocke and Emilia realized that they needed Jesus in their lives and wanted to be baptized. They are learning and applying what the Bible teaches.
Rocke and Emilia are not married, but live together with their 5 children and are expecting their 6th.
We met Emilia when our women’s group started visiting her and her family at their home. After a while, they agreed to do the Peace Treaty.
They both realized that they needed Jesus in their lives and wanted to be baptized and become disciples of Christ.
Rocke and Emilia are learning and putting into practice what the Bible teaches.
Finding the Grace to Forgive
Emilia told us that Jesus helped her to forgive some people in her past, which she wasn’t able to do before because she was filled with anger.
One of these people is her mother, who now visits her and is starting to have a relationship with her grandchildren.
Emilia never knew her father and her mother was abusive growing up. But thanks to God she feels free in Christ and knows that God is changing her life.
Learning and Changing
Rocke and Emilia are growing closer together as a couple and Rocke now has a lot more patience with his children and is guiding them to follow God.
Pray that this couple will follow Christ and get married soon.
