Team Expansion has been reforming the way that it equips and trains its missionaries. The idea in the past was to plant new churches in areas where it is considered unreached or 5% or less evangelical Christian. Now, our paradigm has shifted. Team Expansion is equipping its missionaries to train, equip, and disciple a few people, who then will disciple others who will disciple others. A movement of disciple-making then happens. Praise God for this paradigm shift. Ask God to start 24 disciple-making movements among unreached peoples by 2024.
The Phousang of Victory Village live on a high ridge in the jungle-clad mountains. A grandmother of 80+ years first responded to the Gospel and then helped bring a couple of her friends to the Lord. Quite rapidly, the village elders struck back, threatening police action. New believers were scared away from their faith. Pray that the national missionaries, Danielle and Esther, will persevere with boldness and share the Gospel with Jesus’s authority. Pray that believers will know and understand the Lord and stand firm. (More on The Final 58)
“Rise up, Yahweh, confront them, bring them down; rescue me from the wicked by your sword (Psalm 17:13). Join workers in praying that God confronts the spiritual realm, brings down barriers, that Truth is revealed, and that God is able to rescue the Serbs in Bosnia, the Khmer in Cambodia, the Druze of Golan Heights, the Punjabi Sikhs in India, Ancona and Rome, Italy, the Mien of Laos, the people of Taiwan, and Tokyo, Japan.
Join D and M in praying for Druze hearts to be opened across the Middle East and for them to be attentive to God’s leading in ministry among them. Pray for S to continue to be curious about Christian holidays. Pray for open doors to share with her the Gospel.
