From a Team Expansion partner:
When an earthquake took place in Southeast Asia, the situation for the people was very bad. Our team visited and discovered that everything had collapsed. People did not have food to eat or a place to stay, even their houses were broken and most of the people were using tarpaulin and facing many troubles. Most people had to manage with only one tarpaulin for at least 10-12 people to stay and sleep together in the severe cold there.
We gave rice packets, blankets and foam bedding, tarpaulins, and warm clothes. The survivors made small cottages to stay for themselves with the tarpaulin we provided. We’ve been able to provide blankets for about 200 families, and food/supplies for about 100 families, with about 70 still waiting for relief. The need is ongoing in this region.
