We had an awesome evening tonight at our house church gathering. This boy of twelve has waited a couple of years for this moment.

His mother was the first person we baptized, about 5 years ago. We’ve seen her grow in her faith tremendously and raise her kids through her faith in Jesus.

This boy, born a Muslim to Muslim parents, was raised in a Jesus-loving home from the age of 7 and he has no doubt about who Jesus is and is confident that following Jesus and committing his life to serving Him is exactly what he needs to do.

He was so excited to be baptized, he actually dunked himself before I could get my hands on him, then we went ahead and did it in the name of Jesus the son, God the father, and the Holy Spirit.

This is a second-generation believer brought to faith my his mother and through our (and others’) ministry to her and her family. It’s been so cool seeing this boy’s faith grow as he has grown older, how he participates in our house church, and digs deep into the word of God.
