Team Expansion is made up of hundreds of workers in dozens of countries around the world. Every missionary’s job is different, but our goals are all the same: to tell unreached people about Jesus.

We have workers in Africa, Asia, Europe, South American and North America, all working for a common purpose. We have groups in the Middle East serving refugees, missionaries in North Africa creating schools, a family in Asia running an orphanage, and teams across the globe planting churches and making disciples.

Team Expansion has people all over the globe sharing the Good News in different ways!

But one group that you don’t hear much about is International Services, Team Expansion’s support staff located in Louisville, Ky.

One reason you don’t hear about IS (International Services) is because you shouldn’t! The goal of IS is to help and support our missionaries around the world. Their aim is not to be the focus, but to be the “man behind the curtain,” making it possible for our workers to spread the Gospel to the unreached.

Because the focus isn’t on IS they’re often easy to forget. You may not have even known there was a team of people behind each missionary, helping make their goals a reality.

This is Emerald Hills, the home office of Team Expansion and base for International Services.

But it’s time to pull back the curtain!

Over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing blog posts about each IS team member. You’ll learn who they are, what they do, and how many people it really takes behind the scenes to keep missionaries successful, healthy, and on the field!
