Father, we pray for the political and civil challenges for all those in house churches being persecuted in Northern India. The election determining the Prime Minister is this April and May. Father, despite injustice to Christians, may Your church continue to remain steadfast.
Team Expansion Worker
A few weeks ago, B and L received a phone call from a Christian worker four hours north of them in one of the tribal areas in Southeast Asia. Premature twins had been born to a young couple, she said, and the village elders believed they were a bad omen. They needed medical support, and the parents needed help to understand that these babies were a blessing, not a curse. B and L quickly arranged a car and transported the babies and their parents, because no ambulances are available up there. The babies used the CPAP machines to help them breathe and received nutrition through feeding tubes. Their parents held them, and their mom learned to nurse her babies. The parents, who are very poor, were given money for their food and a place to sleep. A pastor from their region was in town, and he visited and shared with them. They were so grateful for the love they felt. This family of four traveled back to their village, who are now willing to accept the healthy, growing twins. B and L are so thankful they can be a part of this work. Please pray they will be able to continue for years to come.

Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more workers into Your harvest fields. Send out workers to boldly proclaim Your Name so that more disciples and simple churches are multiplied in northern India.
