By workers in a sensitive location

We have known for quite a long time that good news- centered television and radio programs are being beamed out to our people group all across the world. Not only over radio waves, but the good news is also accessible on the internet. Statistically, we know they are indeed accessing these resources. However, we had not yet heard of anyone in our new city who had come in contact with these resources. A few weeks ago, that changed.

One of the ladies working with us was explaining to Joelle* a story of Jesus that was intricately told through a henna design on her hand. As she was explaining the meaning of each of the symbols, the young girl’s face lit up in excitement and she herself finished the story! She was very much familiar with the stories from the Bible, and she was eager to tell our teammate what she had seen on television. She also went on to tell our teammate several other stories from the Bible with great fondness. The seed had already been planted in her heart. Will you pray that God would provide the rain, sunlight, and protection for this precious little seed in Joelle’s heart?

Undoubtedly, Joelle is not alone. Some are hearing through media, some from the mouths of believers, others through dreams and visions delivered to them directly from the Spirit of God. There are many who have received the Good News, and the question now is what they will do in response to it. Would you ask that God would bring them into contact with people who would help them to understand better what they have seen and heard?
