The Lao Chronological Bible Stories are currently available in the Lao, Mien, and Hmong languages. Pray that the Khmu translation is completed soon. Pray that work is soon completed on an English back translation so it can be offered to more people and as a base for translation into other languages.

Two Lao national missionaries are engaging the Jipea tribe. Recently, they boldly shared the Gospel in several Jipea villages. Many people were interested but were not ready to forsake their old practices of worshipping the spirits. However, there was one grandpa who listened attentively and then asked the Lao national missionaries to explain the Gospel a second time. In the end, his son and he said they want to follow Jesus. Pray that the power of the Gospel breaks through the spiritual strongholds in this tribe and that all Jipea will turn to Christ.

“But forget all that – it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19) Holy Spirit, we believe that you are willing and able to catalyze movements across Cambodia in which millions are coming to know you! Do something new in this land! We invite you to make pathways in the wilderness, rivers in the wasteland.

Please pray these requests for ED (International Services) and his wife:
To hear clearly, to obey boldly, to love lavishly, to forgive quickly, to trust completely, to serve unselfishly, to confess frequently, to pray fervently, to plan radically, to encourage abundantly.
