Lord Jesus, during suffering, pain, and death, we ask that You glorify Your name! Use this pandemic to bring millions to their knees in surrender to You, to show people all over the world, from every tribe, tongue, and nation, their desperate need for Your grace and forgiveness! Break down walls of false religion and empty materialism and break through in the lives of people in their places of greatest desperation. Let this virus be the cause of many millions turning to You!
A Lao national missionary team gathered the ten believers in a Phoua village and taught them how to share a simple Gospel presentation with their neighbors and friends. The next day they went on to a Trui village and taught the ten believers there how to share the Gospel, too, and how to hold a worship service. They learned two songs together and then had a combined worship service on Sunday with another nearby Trui village. Pray that the entire Phoua and Trui tribes are reached with the Gospel!
In Ephesians, Paul tells us to put on the full armor of God “so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” Pray that Khmer Christians would stand firm against the devil and the strongholds that he has in their lives.
