Praise God for a new social media outreach to the Tai Dam. In recent years, more Tai Dam have joined the world of smartphones and social media. This past April, a new Facebook page was published to share the Good News of Jesus and have online interactions with them. Pray for this tool to be shared widely and to receive positive response. Ask God’s protection so the page will stay active.
Ask God to reveal Himself to the Mon, the Muji, the Moo Tuen, the Mouvy, the Myen, the Nguon, the Nou, the Nughoe, the Nyahon, and the O’du.
Focus in prayer on the Khmer in Cambodia. “Then they said to one another, ‘We are not doing right. This day is a day of good news. If we are silent and wait until the morning light, punishment will overtake us. Now therefore come; let us go and tell the king’s household.’” (2 Kings 7:9) Four lepers had come across great spoil in a time of severe famine and realized that they must share this great discovery with others. Pray that new Khmer believers would likewise realize the treasure that they have found in Christ and gladly share Him with others.
Join Jorge and Diana Lugo in praying for Venezuela’s economic situation. Latin America is now in the throes of the COVID-19 crisis. There is also lack of gasoline, and many people in an emergency do not have a way to move from one place to another. Pray that the virus in Venezuela will be stopped as hospitals have little capacity to care for patients in delicate conditions. Ask God to protect Jorge and Diana’s children, Jacob and Joshua. Pray for Joshua as he tries to find the best option for online studies in missions/theology.
