According to Richard Foster, “Listening to the Lord is the first thing, second thing, and the third thing necessary for successful intercession.” Find a quiet corner or go for a walk to be alone with God. Allow His Presence to soak into you. Meditate on this verse and then listen. “Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.” (Psalm 25:4-5)
Ask God to show you His truth in your circumstances. Listen and wait for His direction.
Team Expansion Worker
Taiwan has been experiencing a season of drought necessitating water rationing in some cities. Many districts have been without water for two days a week. Please join Allen and Cherry Messimer in praying for rain. On another note, plans for this year’s Sports and English Camp are coming together. This year’s season will look different with a reduced high school week and a small college age “Truth” camp. Please begin praying for the students who will be hearing the Gospel for the first time this year at camp.
Pray for More Workers
Ask the Lord of the harvest to send out 300 U.S. workers to be deployed by 2022. Ask God to inspire strategies and plans to recruit new workers.
Unreached People of the Day
99.5% of the Wolof cling to their faith in Islam. Would you join us in praying that 112 workers would be sent to show the Wolof people that the one way to the Father is through His Son Jesus?
