In disciple-making movements around the world, outside harvest workers keep a low profile, encouraging and drawing new believers into leadership roles. It is key for harvest workers to minimize injecting their own culture into a movement and, instead, encourage an indigenous model. Pray for new believers in Perea to have increased vision and ownership for their needed roles as leaders in disciple making.

Pray for LH as she seeks God’s will for her life in a time of transition from one field to another. Lift the teachers she mentors in a sensitive field. Give thanks to God for some answers to health problems.

Pray for More Workers

In Perea there are thousands of unreached Arab Muslims for every worker. Jesus told His disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray to the Lord who oversees the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.” (Matthew 9:35-38)

Pray for more workers to respond to the harvest in Perea. Ask that the existing church in this U.S. city would be moved by the Spirit of God to share the hope of Jesus with their Muslim neighbors.
