“Go out quickly and bring in the poor; the crippled, the blind, and the lame.” (Luke 14:21b) Sickness and disability are two of the greatest burdens laid on the human species. The poor and needy feel these the worst. Poor health and poverty cross-fertilize each other. Some 38 million of the world’s people are blind and 246 million have low vision, while 80% could be cured if resources allowed. And 90% of the world’s sight-impaired people live in the developing world. Lord Jesus, You came to bring sight to the blind and freedom for the captives. We ask You, Lord, for a holistic Christian vision for everyone on the planet through good healthcare for the most vulnerable and needy. We pray for healing that comes from You, Father, to be brought to all who need it.

Join P and R in southeast Asia in lifting these requests before the Lord:
- R’s pregnancy.
- H to grow in connecting and listening to Jesus.
- T S and Mrs. L to find and experience that Jesus is with them and loves them as they persevere during trials. May they find that Jesus really helps them and can give
them the guidance, wisdom, and everything else they need. - Please pray with P and R for T S and Mrs. L to be able to get a breather and for them to experience God’s presence with them in such a way that they have peace in the middle of their trials.
- Please pray for God to help P and R walk alongside T S and Mrs. L during their storm. Pray for God to help them to have the capacity to hope and the knowledge to know that the storm does not last forever. God is with them just as He promises over and over in His Word.
