Daily Prayer Force July 5, 2023

“To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, ‘If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” (John 8:31-32)

Lord Jesus, we pray for Italians to study and hold to Your teachings recorded in Scripture. We pray for a disciple making movement in Italy, where believers are teaching others to study and embrace Jesus so that many throughout Italy would experience the freedom that the truth brings.

Team Expansion Worker

• Please join M and K in a sensitive field in continuing to pray for Adama, Omar’s mother, who suffered a catastrophic stroke a few months ago. Praise God that she continues to make progress! But continue to pray for full and complete healing and for strength and peace for the family as they care for her.
• Please keep praying for Kadija. Omar reported last month that the cancerous tumor on her leg has grown significantly, and her health has continued to deteriorate. Kadija complains that her leg itches so badly, that she scratches herself constantly day and night until she is bloody and exhausted. Pray that the Lord would relieve her pain.
• Pray for a Muslim family in which the husband has recently decided to take a second wife after claiming he would never do so. Although this is a common practice that elevates a man’s status, the culture readily admits that it always causes jealousy, division, devaluation of women, and worse. Praise God that the Bowers were able to speak truth boldly over this couple this past week. Pray that the truth penetrates and softens this man’s heart and that he will choose to abandon these traditions. Pray for his sweet wife, that in this painful time she will come to know the God who sees her, values her, and calls her by name.

Pray for More Workers

Sovereign Lord, thrust out more workers to disciple Italians and send out Italian disciple makers.
