In Islamic countries, the Muslim call to prayer goes off five times a day. The call to prayer is a song sung in Arabic, encouraging Muslims to go to their nearest mosque to say their prescribed, scripted prayers. It is in Arabic because, according to the Koran, God speaks Arabic, and if Muslims want to have any communication with/from him, it must be in Arabic. Out of the world’s population of Muslims, a small minority are fluent in Arabic. Can you imagine being expected to follow teachings that you have no actual idea what they say? Or being expected to pray in a language that you can’t even speak? How sad it is that there are several billion people that truly have no idea that God speaks their language and desires to have a relationship with them – in their own language! Father, we pray that the Truth would break through this lie of Islam that keeps so many in bondage and separation from the Father.
