Father, we thank You for granting favor for a local evangelist with the Apiaka vice chief. Thank You for the vision the vice chief received before this evangelist reached the village. Thank You for success in the first contact with the vice chief and several families in other Apiaka villages. We thank You, Father, for preparing hearts to receive and believe in Jesus. Thank You, Spirit, for working in the Apiaka to be disciple makers and multipliers.

Team Expansion Worker

The B family had a great summer! They started off in Manchester, UK to see some friends. It was wonderful to reconnect with them. They then attended the org retreat in London and then made their way by train / bus to Croatia. They passed through Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg, and Munich along the way. They made some new friends in Croatia and had a wonderful time eating new foods and seeing new sights.

Their friend, GW, recently had quite a scare with his visa situation. He faced the possibility of having to go back to his home country without a possibility of returning to the Gulf. By the grace of God, he and a teammate met a local woman in the immigration office who went the extra mile to listen to his situation and submit the paperwork needed for his visa renewal. It really was a gift!
Another school year! L is in 8th grade, and A is in 5th grade. Please pray for their school, teachers (many of whom are just now moving here from the UK), and students. Ask God to bless the many connections they will make at school to form meaningful friendships with both teachers’ and students’ families.
B will be attending a conference that focuses on the “Pearl” people in California at the end of September. Please pray for her as she connects with people who are considering future work with “Pearls.’ She will also be teaching various aspects of “Pearl” history and culture, and connecting with fellowships who engage in outreach to “Pearls” in their communities.
