The Druze are long-time power brokers in the Middle East. Fierce warriors. Unreached with the Gospel. They are the Druze – a religious sect with beliefs based in Islam, yet with strong distinctions. For one, they believe in reincarnation. Their main scripture is the Kitab Al Hikma (Epistles of Wisdom). Although many Druze have gained power throughout the Middle East, they are very closed to outsiders. The religion grows only through family expansion. This tight community is difficult to penetrate with the Gospel. But nobody is impossible to reach for Christ!
Already, God is moving through Druze-background believers starting small house churches and ministering in their community. Ancient of Days, through our fervent prayers, stir the Druze, this resilient people to find answers in the love of the Savior. We pray for the leadership to follow Jesus and train others to do the same. We pray for access to the Gospel through courageous witnesses and supernatural encounters. - Pray for the new believers trained in Ethiopia to be faithful to share and engage others among them.
- Pray for those he met with in Kenya, that they would have a heart for reaching their Muslim friends and neighbors and that their hearts would soften to the Gospel message.
- Pray for those in Pakistan who heard the message of loving your neighbor, that they would put their faith into action and love their neighbors unconditionally.
