“As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 2:4-5)
Father, we pray for the book of Luke to be translated into the Warao language. Protect the translators and their families. Spirit, guard their testimonies. Father, we praise You for opportunities to begin work in a new village among the Warao.
Team Expansion Worker
Please join AW and his wife RW (International Services) in praying for the Sudanese refugee school in Cairo that is making a difference in the lives of students and families who have been through war and extreme difficulties. Also pray for follow up plans to link the teachers to local house church members.
May the Biblical trauma curriculum that has been used at Muslim schools in Cairo help bring healing to those who hear the Bible stories, and may they meet El Roi, the God who sees them, in their suffering and trauma.
Praise God that the family that RW serves is adjusting well after their move to the center of Paris. May the Lord use them to bring His light and salvation to many who have never heard or experienced the goodness of God.
Praise God for Revelation Based Planning which allows us to hear from God and follow his plans instead of coming up with our own goals and direction.
Praise God for financially providing for the W family and ministry. They look forward to seeing how He continues to provide the support needed to serve in missions.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more workers into Your harvest fields. Identify living stones to build up a spiritual house in every village of the Warao people in Venezuela.
