“For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.” (Hebrews 6:4-6)
Father, thank You for workers in Michigan reaching Chinese international students and for the opportunity to facilitate ZUME with new students at a local Chinese church. Thank You for the new pastor at the Chinese church who is open to prayer walking and campus ministry. Father, soften the hearts of students to the Gospel. Ask God for creative ways to connect with students, foster relationships, and share the Good News of Jesus with students. Spirit, move on campus to start new Bible study groups.
Team Expansion Worker
-After meeting with every English I class for two years, Derik DeVries (Taiwan) bumped into an English teacher he didn’t know. She is a lapsed Christian who hasn’t found a church home that suits her. Pray that she will find a local congregation that will suit her needs.
-Pray for “Julia,” the only Christian in her family, as she prepares to explain to her parents her choice to marry at what they consider to be an unacceptably young age (before 28-30 years old).
-Continue to pray for “Michelle.” She has started exploring the freedoms of college life without her overprotective parents. Pray for her to continue pursuing relationship with God and find a church.
Praise/Prayer
Out of the blue, there have suddenly been new people at church every week. Pray for Derik and Jennifer to be wise in their interactions with them. Please help them build relationships.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more workers for Your harvest fields among international students across our campuses in the US and worldwide.
