The most prestigious and influential Muslim university in the world is Al-Azhar. Located in Cairo, Al-Azhar originally began as a mosque and school of theology in the tenth century. Today it boasts a massive campus with 20,000 teachers and over 300,000 students. In their search for spiritual truth, what if the Holy Spirit caught the attention of these Muslim students? Father, we pray for those seeking knowledge and salvation to encounter the Truth – Jesus Christ. We pray for this university and associated learning centers to study and discuss the Injil (New Testament). We pray for scholars and educators to know Jesus and use their platforms to make Him known.
