More complex than a space program, the grassroots-led task to translate the Bible into every human language has attempted and achieved remarkable things for God. We are called to pray for the languages and peoples who still wait. Translating the Bible has been extraordinarily successful, but millions of people still wait at the end of the line. According to Wycliffe Bible Translators (2023), the full Bible is now available in 736 different languages, and around six billion people have the Scriptures in the language they know best. Praise God! For the first time ever, the number (3,742) of remaining small languages with work in progress is greater than the number (3,652) of languages still untranslated. Thank YOU, God, for that advent of AI that is accelerating the translation task. (Praying for the World- www.lausanne.org/pray )
Team Expansion Worker
Ross Najmon (International Services) and his family traveled for the month of June to report to church partners and fundraise in MD, VA, NC, and TN. Thank God for the visits, new friends, and special family times He made possible in each of these states.
Pray for More Workers
Lord of the Harvest, thrust out more people who translate, publish, distribute, and teach the Bible as they put forth the Word of Life within reach of everyone in the world.
