We are seeking a DMM Mentor to start and guide a group of younger people (college age or older) in learning and practicing Disciple-Making Movements (DMM) among the majority religion. This may be in association with an established ministry or as part of a pioneering effort.
Team Expansion is actively placing new workers in strategic locations to help launch and sustain Disciple-Making Movements. We’re looking for those who are passionate about sharing Christ’s hope and love with people who have never experienced it firsthand—and who are ready to be used by God to make a long-term impact in a hurting world.
Job Responsibilities
As a DMM Mentor in Southeast Asia, your responsibilities will include:
- Starting and mentoring a group of younger people to practice DMM among the majority religion.
- Forming and facilitating learning experiences for groups of Christians interested in disciple making.
- Raising the necessary financial support (as applicable).
- Completing recommended pre-field training.
- Establishing residence in your host country.
- Learning the local language and culture.
- Developing creative and effective ministries to share Christ’s hope.
- Managing relationships with supporters and reporting regularly.
- Collaborating with teammates in healthy, encouraging ways.
- Praying daily for your team, community, and ministry.
- Seeking vision and alignment with your Team Leader.
- Pursuing personal spiritual growth.
- Continuously evaluating and improving your ministry strategies.
- Trusting God fully for the fruit and fulfillment of your work.

Training Requirements (Pre-Field)
All new workers must complete:
- Launch (Team Expansion’s pre-field training)
- Link training
- A Worldview and Mission course (e.g., Perspectives, Kairos, or equivalent)
- Jonathan Training
- Preparation for cross-cultural life and ministry and language acquisition training (e.g., MTI or similar program)
- Additional specialized training as needed
