Ten Days of Prayer for Ten Countries: Laos Prayer Fuel
Spirt of the Living God, thank You for what You have done and will continue to do in Laos to draw people to Jesus. We ask You to stir hearts across Laos to seek truth beyond tradition. Father, we pray for dreams, visions, and divine encounters to draw people to Yourself, especially in remote mountain villages where the Gospel has yet to take root.
Living Word, thank You for those distributing Bibles and Christian resources amid government restrictions. We pray You will inspire and provide creative solutions to equip believers and seekers with Your Word. Jesus, we ask You to give access to quality media and online communities that can connect believers isolated from each other.
Team Expansion Worker
EG (Diaspora Team) reports that outreach to the Muslim community has taken root through a newly established “Community Center” which offers after school tutoring, mentoring, and support for children. The Community Center provides job assistance, driving lessons, hair cutting, teaching how to pay bills, and equipping men and women with support for employment and workplace stability.
Please lift these requests for/on behalf of EG and his family:
-Our ministry continues to live out Christ’s call to serve “the least of these” by connecting with about ten homeless neighbors in the area. We visited and shared the Gospel with them and encouraged them to visit us at the Community Center.
-We must raise approximately $2200 per month to secure this strategically located Community Center, which is situated within a few minutes’ drive of five mosques. These five mosques are the home to Somali, Somali Bantu, Pakistani, Afghan, and Bosnian Muslims. We can clearly see how God led us to this location and its strategic importance. Please thank Him for that!
