This year we’re encouraging all of our summer Pathways interns to keep a blog of their experiences so we can learn and grieve and celebrate with them, through everything that happens!

We’re excited to see what our interns take away from the summer, but before we start sharing their experiences we should talk about what it is they’re actually doing!

Pathways Summer Intern
Pathways interns always come home with new friends!

Pathways is what we call our summer internship program. People from all over the country join teams going to one of Team Expansion’s fields for a summer of experiencing another culture while studying language, building relationships, and learning from experienced workers.

While the internship is geared toward college kids, anyone 18+ can apply!

Our interns will spend their summers doing all sorts of different things! For example, a few years ago we had interns work with an orphanage in Asia. For the last few years a team of interns have been able to provide aid to Syrian refugees in the Middle East. Another group got to work in a gorgeous country in Southeast Asia doing ministry through an adventure tourism business!

Adventure Tourism Business
These interns had the adventure of a lifetime!

Each intern’s summer will look different, with different language learning, cultural experiences, and teammates. But one thing will be the same for each one- they’ll see God move in BIG ways! And it will be a summer they’ll never forget.
