Team Expansion General Prayer Request for April 29, 2018
Praise God for His Spirit’s leading and guidance of Team Expansion workers around the globe. Ask God to orchestrate preparations and plans for implementing new fields, annual gatherings, outreach ministries, and day to day ministry to multiply disciples among the nations.
Pray for the 30 Cities Initiative
Pray for two cities in China: Shenzhen and Tianjin. Ask the Lord to work in the hearts of believers, embolden and empower them to share the Gospel throughout these cities and surrounding villages. Pray for disciple-making movements to abound in Shenzhen and Tianjin.
Pray for Gospel Breakthrough: the people of Taiwan
Partnership with the Campus Love ministry has given workers in Taiwan the opportunity to develop relationships with students outside their normal school classroom setting. One young lady has been impacted by many Christ followers and God is drawing her near. Give thanks for the opportunity to meet her and share life and faith as the family of God. Pray for the Taiwanese people that workers share life with to take the final step of faith.
Pray for Team Expansion Worker: LH
Pray that the Lord would bring LH more girls who want to study the Word with her as she seeks to share the good news outside of school in a sensitive field.

| Druze in Syria
“Druze” is a word derived from el-Drzi, the name of one of the early propagandists of the Druze religion. The religion of the Druze began in the 9th century AD, as a sect of Islam. Druze hold the Qur’an to be sacred, but look upon it as an outer shell, holding an “inner, esoteric meaning”. They can be found in Israel, Lebanon, and Syria, and follow a lifestyle of isolation. Ministry Obstacles: The Druze see Jesus as a major prophet, but not the Son of God. Also, their life of isolation makes them resistant to outside influences. Outreach Ideas: Christian Arabs may have special rapport with the Druze. Perhaps the Lord will grant a burden for the Druze to some Middle Eastern Christian Arabs, and also to Messianic Jews in Israel. Pray for the followers of Christ: Pray for the few believers among the Druze, that the Lord may strengthen them out of his glorious riches so that Christ may dwell in their hearts through faith. Pray these believers will fellowship together, and grow as the body of Christ. Pray for the entire people group: Pray each individual in the Druze community will soon become persuaded that Jesus is truly the Son of God, and will place their faith in his finished work on the cross. Pray for multiplying disciples among the Druze. Scripture Focus: “All nations you have made will come and worship before you, O Lord; they will bring glory to your name.” Psalm 86:9 |
