Team Expansion General Request: May 7, 2019
Judah’s good king Asa prayed in 2 Chronicles 14:11, “LORD, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. O LORD, you are our God; do not let man prevail against you.” The enemy was crushed before the LORD and His forces! Praise God that He still answers this prayer on behalf of Team Expansion workers going out to rescue the unreached peoples of the world. Ask God to continue to tear down barriers so that the Gospel might be preached where it has never been preached before.
Final 58 of Laos
Praise God for moving within the Muji people group! New believers among the Muji are cleaning out their houses of spirit worship articles and burning them. This is not a ho-hum activity, but certain to cause a stir in the community and possibly among the authorities. Pray for new believers to remain resilient and strong to follow Jesus. Gospel Breakthrough
Khmer in Cambodia | Extraordinary things happen when there is extraordinary prayer that makes a difference around the world. Pray for God to move among the Khmer and new disciples are raised up.
Team Expansion Worker
Join Aisha Peterson (Franklinton, Ohio) in praying for Z, L, and N who are Somali Bantu teen girls with whom she is establishing relationships. Pray for dreams of Jesus to fill their homes. Pray that Mara would decide to read the Gospel of John with Aisha and that Natalie would trust Jesus with her life and be changed by Him. Pray down the barriers of pride, anger, violence, disconnection, and addiction in the neighborhood. Pray for humility, faith, community, trust, and obedience to flourish in the neighborhood.
Unengaged/Unreached People Group
Pray for the Lu people group in China, 4,300 followers of ethnic religions. Pray for churches and organizations to adopt the Lu to ensure that the Gospel penetrates hearts of the Lu people. (More on Finishing the Task)
