“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
Lord, prepare our hearts to be pure. Prompt us to run away from sinful desires. Give us the ability to call on YOU out of a pure heart that seeks after faith, love, and peace. Keep us from foolish arguing. May we desire pure hearts as we await the coming of our Savior.
In another Laoseng village, the main believer’s son joined the family in believing. They all worship together, and the Lao national team taught them more about not being afraid because God is with them. This whole family now understands and remembers the Gospel clearly. One of the team members encouraged this family to witness. “I was once the only Christian in my village. The headman and other villagers didn’t like it at all. But today, my whole village is Christian. God will use your example to lead your neighbors to believe in Jesus, too.” Praise God for this family and pray that the entire village turns away from fear to follow Jesus as Lord.
Give thanks and praise to God for new projects including a vision/prayer trip to Golan. Praise God for raising up a church group that walked through the 4 Druze villages in the Golan and prayed for a village to “adopt”. This church will pray for that village, interceding before the throne for the souls there and the harvest workers among them until the Druze of that village hear and receive the Good News of Jesus.
Pray for Mike Hook (Louisville Hispanics) as he battles Myasthenia Gravis which is causing double vision. Pray for Mike and Jill’s son David, that he might find his way in life, secure a job, and grow in faith in Christ. Pray for the new small group meeting Wednesday afternoons. Pray for Walter Quila to count the cost and decide to follow Jesus.
