“My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart.” (Psalm 7:10)
Lord, prepare our hearts to be upright. You have said that the light is shed upon the righteous and joy on the upright in heart. We pray your light shines upon us as we rejoice in YOU! We take refuge in YOU because YOU are our shield. YOU are God Most High. May we be counted among those whose hearts are upright as we wait for the coming of the Christ child.
Pray for open hearts to receive the Gospel among the Lawi, the Maleng, the Mlabri, the Mon, and the Muji peoples.
Tokyo, Japan is our prayer focus today. Christianity is still regarded as an outside, Western religion rather than a universal faith with the capacity to be truly Japanese. Pray away the spirit of confusion so that people of Tokyo may see clearly the Good News of Jesus.
Please pray for clear direction and vision for AK’s team in Central Asia. Pray that they would find a DMM coaching situation that would most closely line up with the cultural context of their region. Pray for AK’s transition into the role as a science teacher at an international school.
